THIS IS MY STORY

I didn’t start yoga until I was 36 (no previous dance or gymnast background). My intention was not to do splits or to be bendy but to be pain free in my body and feel the sense of calm & peace in my mind.

I was driven by debilitating pain in my pelvis, lower back & shoulder blades at the age of 36 (6 months after having my son).

I KNEW SOMETHING HAD TO CHANGE

I suffered from a prolapse, misaligned & twisted pelvis, postpartum arthralgia (arthritis like chronic joint pain triggered by breastfeeding) and elements of postpartum depression. Without previous experience of dance or gymnastics I decided to take matters into my own hands and started yoga. I simply wanted to wake up in the morning pain free, feeling happy & healthy in my own body. I was committed to support and heal my body. I started to learn about mind/ body connection, emotional pain body, energetic body and how true healing takes place when you have a holistic approach and address all 4 levels of your being - physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Change didn’t happen overnight and took years of learning various styles of yoga, deep flexibility and mobility programs, qualifications as well as deepening my understanding of neuroscience, psychosomatic & spiritual practices.

CHANGES I STARTED TO WITNESS WERE BEYOND PROFOUND

So much so that later, I qualified to become yoga & mindfulness teacher and ever since dedicated myself to keep deepening my knowledge of physical, emotional & spiritual, participating in various courses, obtaining qualifications and sharing this knowledge with others. YTT -200 Himalayan Yoga institute, Gravity Yoga, Method flexibility with LAAIC ( Talia Sutra ), Sophia Circle Leadership Certification studying with Kaia Ra as well as studying in depth the work of Dr Gabor Mate, Dr Peter Levine, Dr Joe Dispenza.

  • This program is for anyone who’s interested in going deeper than just physical asana practice and combining somatic with energetic practices to experience deeper transformation and shifts in consciousness.

    Some aspects of this program will be challenging but it does teach you how to make poses accessible no matter what level you are.

  • Yes, we get really creative with props. You will need a strap, 2 blocks, a pair of socks, shoes and a wall.

    If you don't have a strap or a set of blocks you could use a scarf or tie and a stack of books.

  • The day-to-day sessions are between 10-20 minutes (perfect for people with busy lives). 1 weekly masterclass is like a mini-workshop and is 60 minutes long.

  • After completing the 6 week program you should start noticing changes in your physical practice, mental & emotional wellbeing.

    Continuity of practice will be beneficial for developing deeper flexibility and strength, deepening connection with your mental, emotional & spiritual body.
